Avera “Footprints” program starting Saturday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Avera St. Luke’s Foundation and the Wound Care Clinic are joining forces for a new program entitled, “Footprints,” which will start on Saturday, April 6.

Hours are 9 to 11 a.m. at the Avera Wound Care and Hyperbaric Treatment Center, 305 S. State St.

Amy Blackstone, Foundation Director at Avera, talked about the program.

Each session will include a physician on hand as well as education, giveaways and toenail trimmings.

Blackstone said there has been an increasing demand for foot care at the Wound Care Clinic.

Cost is $25 per session or $150 for an eight-session punch card. To reserve a spot call (605) 622-5034. Part of the proceeds will go to help those who need transportation getting to and from the Wound Care Clinic.
