Boys & Girls Club offering food, virtual programs

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Boys and Girls Club of Aberdeen Area is stepping up and helping meet the needs of children during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Club is offering free food to kids ages 1-18 through a program called Clubside To-Go, and also offering virtual programming on its Facebook page.

Shelby Roso, Operations Director of the Club, said the meals are handed out from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day. Kids do not have to be club members, and reservations are not required, but encouraged.

She said the meals feature a variety of options.

The Club also has various virtual programs for kids of all ages. Megan Reshetar, Program Director at the Club, provides the details.

Mike Herman, Executive Director of the Club, said these are ways that the Club has found to give back to the community.
