Comedian working to help the homeless

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – A man is finding a way to make people laugh and help the homeless in the process.

Comedian Elvis Mujic (moo-yee-ch) is in Aberdeen and will present two shows on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The first is at the Salvation Army at 12:30 p.m. It is free and will be preceded by a meal at noon, which is also free. He will then present a show at 8 p.m. at Slackers. Price of admission is new socks or underwear (for age 21+).

Mujic talked about his tour across the country.

Mujic said the goal is to provide a little comedic relief to people while helping those in need.

Socks and underwear can be dropped off at donation boxes at Slackers, Karisma Boutique, Anytime Fitness, Threads and Heads, and Red Rooster Coffee House.

Mujic is spending a bit of time in the Dakotas trying to make a difference.
