WNAX (Yankton): Levels on the Missouri River are falling both upstream and downstream.

Mike Swenson, a hydraulic engineer with the Corps of Engineers in Omaha, says releases from Gavins Point Dam will be dropped some this week.

Swenson says Ft. Randall Dam will also be adjusting releases.

Swenson says Lake Oahe also continues to fall slowly.

Flooding continues on the lower Missouri River due to heavy rains across Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
