ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – The Northern State Theatre Department is presenting the musical, The Brain from Planet X. The event has eight shows starting on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Johnson Fine Arts Center Black Box Theatre.

Kane Anderson, Assistant Professor of Acting and Directing, is excited about the show.

He said that a dozen NSU students are part of the production.

Performances will be nightly on Oct. 17-19, 25-26, and at 3 p.m. on Oct. 27. Anderson said there a couple of reasons why the show runs over two weekends.

Tickets are $18 for adults, with a Northern faculty-staff discount of $9 and a $2 discount per ticket for groups of 12 or more. NSU students are admitted free with their ID.

There is also a special 11 p.m. showing on Oct. 26 for mature audiences.

Anderson said some material during the shows may not be suitable for small children.
