Programs to provide free meals for kids

ABERDEEN, S.D. (aberdeennews.com) – While The Salvation Army lunch program ends next week, the Aberdeen Public School District and Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen will have meal programs starting Monday.

Both are free, but students who pick up up grab-and-go meals from the district must be enrolled. And parents are asked to sign up for the Club Side To-Go meals program in advance.

The Salvation Army has had lunch pick-up sites throughout town this past week and that will continue next week, according to the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce.
