Thune says Congress still working on spending bills from last year

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Following the government shutdown last month, Congress and the President agreed on a budget deal to keep the government open through the end of September.

Thune says a two-year budget would take away a lot of the annual drama.

Thune says they need to get moving on the new spending plans.

This years deal includes over $330 billion in federal spending.
