USD Law School prepare for more freshmen

VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – Law school students at the University of South Dakota get an early start on classes, with orientation set for Aug. 12.

This will be the first official session for new Law School Dean Neil Fulton, who was named to the position in March.

He says they are preparing for more freshmen.

Fulton says this year’s class is part of an improving trend.

Fulton says a number of factors have led to the increase in student numbers.

The latest report said that 80 percent of the class of 2018 had passed the bar exam. The class of 2019 was taking those tests last week.
