Aberdeen Parks & Rec Taking Tennis Signups for Leagues and Lessons

ABERDEEN, SD (Press Releases) – The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department would like to remind interested youth ages 17 and under, that registrations are being taken for the Youth Tennis League. This league provides supervised competition for youth of all ages. Leagues for advanced beginners and intermediates are held at Holgate from 9-10:30a. Advanced Leagues are held at the NSU Courts between 1p and 3p. League play is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on June 2. The registration fee is $22. Registrations will be taken at the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Office at 225 Third Avenue Southeast. Online registration is also available at www.aberdeen.sd.us/parks and rec. The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department would like to remind interested youth and adults that registration for the first session of tennis lessons are still being taken. This session will run from Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 26. Youth lessons include: Beginners, Advanced Beginners, Intermediates, and Advanced levels; and are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at various times. Pee-Wee lessons for youth ages 5 and 6 is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Adult levels include Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced levels with evening lessons available.
