Aberdeen Wings Announce More Tender Signings for Next Season

ABERDEEN, SD (AberdeenWings.com) – The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are proud to announce three more tender signings ahead of the 2023-24 hockey season. Seven players have previously been announced.

Drake Ramirez

Ramirez spent his 2021-22 season playing for Centennial High School in Minnesota, where he recorded eleven goals and twelve assists in 27 games played. The 5’9″ 165 lb. forward from Blaine, MN is currently playing for Team MPLS Magazine, where he’s notched four goals and six assists in 20 games so far this season.

“Drake is a fast and very quick, skilled forward who plays a full 200-foot game and possesses a quick, accurate release,” Wings head coach Scott Langer said. “He plays bigger than his size and will be someone who is very good at corner battles and open-ice playmaking.”

Peyton Blair

Blair also spent his 2021-22 season alongside Ramirez playing for Centennial High School in Minnesota, where he picked up 24 goals and 26 assists in 26 games played. The 5’10” 165 lb. forward also currently plays for Team MPLS Magazine, where he has three goals and ten assists in 18 games so far this year.

“Peyton is a play-making winger with a good skill set and a nose for the net,” Langer said. “His speed, quickness and aggressiveness are solid parts of his 200-foot game. He had great success in the Minnesota Elite League this fall and had a great 2021-22 high school season.”

Aaron Reierson

A 6’1″160 lb. forward from Moorehead, MN, Reierson currently plays for Team Sanford Power, where has has amassed seven goals and six assists in 13 games played. The 17-year-old also played 19 games for Sanford Power in the 2020-21 season, scoring nine goals and adding 15 assists, as well as for Moorehead High School, where had 14 goals and eleven assists in 31 games played.

“Aaron is a tough, crafty player with a high hockey IQ,” Langer said. “He can play both forward positions and has proven to be able to find areas to create plays with his elite vision.”
