Day One of NSIC Outdoor T&F Championships

NSIC Championships in Aberdeen (day 1/3)

The duo of Jackson Willis and Sean Juengst kicked off the NSIC Outdoor Championships for the Wolves on Thursday with decathlon competition at the Swisher Activities Complex. Willis sits second with 3,212 points, while Juengst is in ninth with 2,924 points.

 

MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • Willis recorded marks of 11.71 in the 100m, 6.73m in the long jump, 9.90m in the shot put, 1.79m in the high jump, and 53.65 in the 400m
  • Willis won the long jump with his 6.73m (22-01.00) mark
  • Juengst tallied marks of 12.09 in the 100m, 5.70m in the long jump, 10.31m in the shot put, 1.82m in the high jump, and 54.47 in the 400m
  • Juengst took third in both the shot put and high jump events
