The Defenders out-hit the Tigers .286-.133 and dominated in blocking 11-3 as they made a statement at home against DWU Wednesday.

The Lancers started GPAC play w/ a 4-set road “upset” of the Tigers. Doane dropped to 4-9 overall, while MMU moved to 5-3. Doane held an 11-6 lead in blocks, and MMU had twice the service errors (8-4), but they finished w/ 22 more kills and ten more attack errors to out-hit Doane, .224-.176.
