Myrdis Heupel, 92, Ashley, ND, died Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Ashley Medical Center Nursing Home.

Myrdis is survived by one son, Ronald Heupel, of Duluth, MN; one daughter, Lanette (Dean) Blumhardt of Ashley; son-in-law, Darel Jantzen of Newnan, GA; three grandchildren—Mark Heupel, Toya (Spencer) Kemmerer, and Whitney (Trent) Kopecky; three great-grandsons Tucker, Kayden, and Stetson Kemmerer; and a special niece, Carol (Les) Stadig of Midlothian, Virginia.

Myrdis’s funeral will be livestreamed at the Lien Family Funeral Care Facebook page.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Carlsen Lien Chapel, Ashley, led by Pastor David Irwin. Visitation commences one hour prior to the service.

Interment follows at the Ashley City Cemetery.
