- Dak State & Carroll were tied at halftime & at the end of 3Q, but the Trojans connected for 33 points in the final frame to make the Quarterfinals with an 82-72 win over Carroll. The teams shot nearly identical percentages from the floor, but while Carroll had seven more buckets, it was DakSt that had two more treys & 22 more points at the FT line (29/33 – 7/8). The Fighting Saints went +6 in rebounding, but it wasn’t enough.

- In a game that was delayed ‘til 11:30p due to a leaky roof at Tyson Events Center, the Defenders’ season ended against MT Western, 89-79, as Dordt suffered just its 4th loss of the season. Dordt led by 6p in the 1st half before the Bulldogs tied the game at the break. MT Western went up ten after intermission, and Dordt closed to within one before the Bulldogs ended the game on an 8-1 run. Both offenses were clicking as MT Western shot a ridiculous 15/24-3 (63%) & 62% overall, while DU hit 6/15-3 & 51% from the field. Dordt got back some of those points at the FT line, where they hit 21/29 to MT Western’s 10/13.

- The potent Jimmies offense was held in check on Tuesday as the Warriors eliminated Jamestown, 61-51. UJ was out-shot 42-29% overall to nullify a 14-8 lead in OR’s for Jamestown. IN Tech hit just 1/8-3, but it didn’t matter.
