NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#24 Jesse Sherwood (RB, 5-10, 205, Sr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Robbinsdale Armstrong) – SMSU 

– Rushed for a career-high 205 yards and three touchdowns on a career-high 36 carries in a 31-28 road win over UMary
– Had a pair of 3-yard touchdowns and a 20-yard score to help give SMSU a winning record for the first time since 2017
– It’s the third straight game he has rushed for more than 150 yards and the fourth straight game dating back to last season
– The 205-yard effort is the 13th highest single-game total in team history
– Becomes the first Mustang to reach 200 yards since the 2013 season
– Named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#94 Grayson Diepenbrock (DL, 6-2, 230, Sr., Parker, Texas / Plano East HS) – Augustana

– Recorded three solo sacks in a 31-7 victory at MSU Moorhead, the second-most in a single game in Augustana history
– The three sacks went for a total of 23 yards lost
– He assisted on a fourth tackle which was also a tackle for loss
– Was part of a Viking defense that allowed just one rushing yard in the game
– Was also credited with a quarterback hurry in the contest
– Ranks third in the nation in sacks

NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#26 Payton Eue (K/P, 5-10, 175, Sr., Champlin, Minn. / Champlin Park HS) – Northern State

– Scored 11 points in the Wolves 23-22 win over MSU, their first victory over Minnesota State since 1971
– Made 3-of-3 field goals in the contest from distances of 28 and a pair from 33
– Was perfect 2-for-2 on extra points
– Averaged 37.8 yards per punt and 64.3 yards per kickoff
– Moved up to second all-time at Northern State in the career records for field goals made
– Named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season (9/6/22)

#4 Jarod Epperson (AUGIE)
 rushed 12 times for 115 yards in a 31-7 win at MSU Moorhead. He averaged 9.6 yards per carry and ran off a season-long rush of 80 yards to complete a 1-play, 80-yard drive. He surpassed 2,000 rushing yards for his career in the contest and the 100-yard game was the 10th of his career.
#10 Brandon Alt (BSU) led the Beavers to over 500 yards on offense after passing for 371 yards on 24-of-36 passes with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He threw for the third consecutive game with over 350 yards through the air en route to a 34-24 victory over Winona State. He threw touchdown passes of 49-yards, 21-yards and 15-yards.
#11 Danny Kittner (UMary) caught 9 passes for 152 yards for season-highs in both categories. He also ran once for 4 yards and returned 3 kicks for 69 yards. He added a punt return for 19 yards and finished with 244 total yards on a busy day against the Mustangs.
#12 Camden Dean (MSU) threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns in his first game. He completed 13-of-20 passes. He entered the game with less than 3:00 minutes to go in the third quarter.
#6 Gage Florence (MSUM) recorded first 100-yard receiving game of his career in loss to No. 12 Augustana. Florence caught a career-high eight passes for a career-high 105 yards against the Vikings. He leads the Dragons with 19 catches for 257 yards and a score this season.
#18 Peyton Lamoureux (MINOT) recorded his first 100-yard receiving game of the season, leading the way for the Beavers offense at home against Wayne State. He has five catches for 100 yards, with a long of 56 yards.
#18 Will Madler (NSU) led Northern State to their first win over Minnesota State since 1971. He entered in the second quarter and took command of the offense, passing for 113 yards. He completed 10-of-29 passing attempts with one touchdown without throwing an interception. He added 41 yards rushing and a rushing score.
#34 Thuro Reisdorfer (USF) had 171 all purpose yards with 159 rushing yards on 19 attempts averaging 8.4 yards. He scored two touchdowns with one being a 78 yarder. He added three catches for 32 yards averaging 7.78 yards per touch.
#4 Nick Bohn (WSC) had 317 yards of total offense in just one half of play in Saturday’s 49-10 win at Minot State. He completed 9 of 14 passes for 217 yards and two TD’s and added another 100 yards rushing on 13 carries and one score. He led WSC offense that scored on five of first six possessions to build 35-3 halftime lead.
#12 Trevor Paulsen (WSU) had a solid outing against Bemidji State in the 34-24 WSU loss as he was 15-of-27 passing for 169 yards. He threw for one TD and no interceptions. Had a long completion of 35 yards and also had a rushing score.

#18 Zollie Kaplan (BSU) 
recorded three tackles with two of them being sacks to help the Beavers to a 34-24 victory on Homecoming weekend over Winona State.
#41 Jacob Daulton (MSU) led the Mavericks in tackles with 10, including 1.0 tackle for a loss.
#47 Josiah Behm (MSUM) finished with a season-high 12 tackles in a loss to No. 12 Augustana. He led the team with nine solo stops along with three assists. Behm leads Dragons with 31 tackles.
#91 Jonathan Leon (MINOT) picked up his first career fumble recovery and second career sack, helping lead the way on defense for Minot State in its home game against Wayne State.
#14 Luke Gunderson (NSU) led Northern State with six tackles, including one sack in their win over Minnesota State. He tallied two solo stops and four assisted tackles. He was a member of the defense that held the Mavericks to just 43 yards rushing. He added 50 return yards with a 33 yard long.
#9 Brian Corbins Jr. (WSU) had an impactful day on defense for Winona State in their 34-24 loss to BSU on Saturday. He had the opening score of the game on a 52-yard pick-six. He registered seven total tackles and also had a pass breakup on the day.

#22 Kevin Powell (UMary) 
dropped 4 of his 6 punts inside the 20 yard line as he averaged 40.3 yards/punt with a long of 47 and none were returned. He made all 4 extra point attempts. His three kickoffs were returned for a total of 35 yards (11.6 yards/return).
#82 Brian Knudslien (MSUM) averaged 39.5 yards per punt on 11 attempts against No. 12 Augustana. He had a long punt of 57 yards with three punts inside the 20 and finished with two punts of more than 50 yards.
#26 Dillon Fedor (MINOT) kicked his first field goal of the fall, a 43-yard effort in the first quarter to get Minot State on the board early in their home game against Wayne State. He also added 3 kickoffs, two for touchbacks.
#6 Landon Freeman (USF) had four kick off returns for 130 total yards to average 32 yards per return.
#27 Carter Dicker (SMSU) connected on a career-long 42-yard field goal with 4:59 remaining in the game to give SMSU a 31-21 lead and help the Mustangs defeat the Marauders 31-28. Dicker, who missed a 32-yard field goal earlier in the game, redeemed himself with his first field goal of the season, for the eventual game-winning points. He finished the game making all four PATs and also had four punts for an average of 34.2 yards.
#1 Darryl Williams (WSU) put together some impressive kick returns for Winona State on Saturday in their 34-24 loss to BSU. He accumulated 79 total yards on two kick returns. He had a return of 45 yards. He also led WSU in total catches on the day with 5.
