NSU MBB Leaps to the Number Two Spot in the Latest NABC Poll

NABC.com – The updated NABC NCAA DII MBB Poll has been released, and there is a new top team for the 1st time in a LONG time. The Colorado School of Mines took advantage of an overtime loss by the previously top-ranked Bearcats of Northwest Missouri State (to #8 Washburn) to climb from 4th to 1st in this week’s poll. NSU jumped five spots with their weekend sweep in Bemidji to claim the 2-spot, just ahead of NW MO. The NSIC has one other top-25 team w/ USF at #25. Augustana fell from #14 to the “receiving votes” category after shouldering two losses at the hands of MSU…however, Mankato did not get rewarded with any votes this week.
