NSU Soccer Team Holding July & August Camps

ABERDEEN, SD (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University soccer team has announced their 2022 summer camp options for kids of all ages. Northern will offer a College ID Camp in July and Youth Camp in August. Full camp details are below. Dates: July 29
Time: 8:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Who: Girls 13-18 (Incoming 8th Graders to HS Seniors)
Cost: $75 per camper

About the camp: The Wolves College ID camp is specifically designed to provide an experience of what it is like to be a student-athlete at Northern State University. This camp is geared towards the aspiring college soccer player. The morning session will feature a traditional training environment where campers will work with coaches on a few different training topics.  Goalkeepers will receive specific goalkeeper training during the morning session and join in with the field players towards the end of the morning session.  In the afternoon, the focus will be on small-sided games (7v7 or 8v8) and full sided games (11v11).  An informational College Recruiting talk will be provided. This presentation will cover some NCAA Rules, and some general trends and guidelines for Prospective Student-Athletes.

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Who: Boys & Girls, 5-12 years of age
Cost: $95 per camper (t-shirt included)

About the camp: Day Camp is a high energy, fun, educational environment for girls and boys of all ability levels. Campers will be exposed to technical and tactical lessons within exercises, fun activities, and competitive small-sided games. The Northern State Athletic and Recreation Fields will provide world class facilities for soccer training and other fun activities.
