NSU T&F Competes At NSIC Outdoor Championships

St. Paul, MN (NSUWolves.com). – The Northern State University multi-events squad of Addison Cumbow, Morgan Sheldon, Sean Juengst, Isaac Ligon, and Eli Radtke opened the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday competing in the heptathlon and decathlon.
MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Sean Juengst and Eli Radtke each hold a spot in the top-6, while Isaac Ligon is just outside of the top-10
  • Juengst is in fifth with 3,027 points, recording marks of 12.04 in the 100m, 5.73m in the long jump, 10.71m in the shot put, 1.85m in the high jump, and 53.59 in the 400m
  • Radtke follows in sixth with 2,960 points, notching marks of 11.40 in the 100m, 5.86m in the long jump, 9.38m in the shot put, 1.70m in the high jump, and 54.05 in the 400m
  • Ligon scored 2,168 points in 11th overall with marks of 11.53 in the 100m, 5.56m in the long jump, 9.50m in the shot put, and 1.61m in the high jump
WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Morgan Sheldon sits 13th in the heptathlon with 2,603 points, recording marks of 15.11 in the 100m hurdles, 1.53m in the high jump, 9.61m in the shot put, and 28.18 in the 200m
  • Addison Cumbow scored 2,241 points on the opening day, notching marks of 15.87 in the 100m hurdles, 1.35m in the high jump, 8.03m in the shot put, and 27.76 in the 200m

The full team will begin competition from the NSIC Championships tomorrow. Events begin at 10 a.m. with the 10,000m from the campus of Concordia-St. Paul.
