NSU WBB Player Grabs NSIC Weekly Honor

BURNSVILLE, MN (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State University senior Laurie Rogers was named the NSIC North Division Player of the Week by the league office on Monday morning. Rogers led the Wolves to a pair of wins over MSU-Moorhead and South Dakota Mines en route to her second career conference player of the week honors.

#41 Laurie Rogers (F, 6-2, Sr., Aberdeen, SD / Warner HS) – Northern State

  • Led the Wolves to a pair of wins against MSUM (59-58) and SD Mines (87-53)
  • Averaged 17.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game
  • Shot 13-of-18 (72.2%) from the field and was 8-8 from the free throw line
  • Earned her seventh career double-double in the win over MSUM
  • Had a team-high 18 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots against MSUM
  • Had 16 points on 7/7 shooting while adding four rebounds and five blocked shots vs. Mines
