NSU’s Renea Taylor, NCAA All-American

Pueblo, CO (NSUWolves.com) – Renea Taylor opened her NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday, competing in the 100m and 400m hurdles. The sophomore solidified an All-American performance in the 400m hurdles, advancing to Saturday’s finals race.
Taylor kicked off her day in the 100m, racing to a time of 11.84. She placed 17th overall and sixth in her heat.
The Washington native earned her spot in the finals with a second place finish in her heat. Taylor tallied a personal best time of 59.76, running the sixth fastest time of the day. The sixth place standing earned her the second All-American honor of her Northern State career and first in the event.
Taylor will race on Saturday at 8:20 p.m. (CT) in the 400m hurdle finals.
