Saints Baseball Weekend Recap

Springfield, MO (PCSaints.com) – The Presentation College Saints concluded their weekend series with Evangel University Valor. The Valor swept the Saints on the final day. The scores were Saints 0 Valor 6 in game number one and in the second game Saints 2 Valor 3. The Saints are now 0-4 on the season.

Game #1

The Saints and Valor played two and a half innings of scoreless baseball. The Valor got on the scoreboard with three runs in the bottom of the third. The scored again a single run in the fourth and two more in the fifth for a final score of Saints 0 Valor 6.

The Saints had their best game in the final game of the series versus the Valor. They did lose the game by a final score of Saints 2 Valor 3. The Saints for the first time this series scored in the first inning. Wolf’Don Thorson (SR/Bottineau, ND) had an RBI single scoring Matthew Womack (SR/Houston, TX). The Valor came back to score one run in the bottom of the second and third inning. The Saints came back in the top of the fourth to score a run by Wolf’Don Thorson off a single by Tyus Stanley (SR/Federal Way, WA). The Valor scored in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead and get the final score of Saints 2 and Valor 3.
