• On Tuesday at Lake Norden’s place, the Aberdeen Smittys scored early and then scored often. They put up a four spot in the first inning and even if they didn’t put up a single run after that, that would have been enough. Aberdeen lumped the Lake Norden squad, 16-2 last night. Phillip Zens got the win on the hill striking out 5 over three innings and Casey Vining was electric at the dish. Vining was 4-5 with 6 RBI and Jaden Smith also drove in three in the victory. The Smittys out hit Lake Norden 13-4 and they were also perfect in the field, recording zero errors, while their opponents committed three.

ESD MEET (Girls) Tournament @ Cattail Crossing w/ Aberdeen Central [GGID: GESD23]

• At the ESD meet at Cattail Crossing, the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles girls golf squad collectively finished in 2^nd place out of eight teams. Three Central duffers were named all-ESD, as they’d finish in the top 15 at the meet. Olivia Braun, Emma Dohrer & Kyley Wirebaugh. Allison Meyerink of Mitchell was the medalist for the afternoon as she carded a four under par. Braun finished two over par, good for second place. Dohrer was in 5^th place, +7 & Wirebaugh finished in 8^th place as she carded a +10.
• The Golden Eagles are back in action next Tuesday, May 30^th in Pierre for a QUAD w/ RC Stevens, Pierre & Mitchell.
