  • Ryli Thompson of Mo/Po won the 100M dash.
  • Sophia Overland of Mo/Po won the 200M dash with two other Tigers rounding out the top 3.
  • Ryli Thompson (Mo/Po) also won the 400M dash.
  • Faith Heil of Mo/Po won the 800M dash, with Heidi Olson (Mo/Po) in 2nd.
  • Heil won the 1600M run + Heidi Olson winning the 3200M run.
  • Kaidence Bulgin of North Central won the 100m hurdles. Grace Overland (Mo/Po) 2nd.
  • Mo/Po won the 4×100, 200, 400 & 800 relays.
  • Miller won the SMR 1600M.
  • Joanlei Baker of Miller won the shot put, w/ Katie Wollman of Mo/Po placing second.
  • Emily Hatzenbuhler of Mo/Po won the discus; Joanlei Baker (Miller) placed second.

  • Miller’s Colby Kolda placed 2nd in the 100M dash, he also placed second in the 200M.
  • Kellan Hurd of Miller won the 400M w/ Raynor Sprague of North Central placing second.
  • Miller’s Alex Schumacher of Miller won the 800M dash.
  • Pierce Baumberger of Miller won the 1600M run, he also won the 3200M run.
  • Isaak Hunter of Miller won the 110M hurdles (w/ a PR). Remmi Ford (Mo/Po) 2nd.
  • Simon Fried of Mo/Po won the 300m hurdles. Remmi Ford, second.
  • Miller’s relay team won the 4×200.
  • Mo/Po’s relay team won the 4×400 + won the SMR 1600M.
  • Carter Hinsz of Mo/Po won the shot put with Coy Hinsz (Mo/Po), second.
  • Trevor Werdel of Miller won the discus, w/ Carter Hinsz (Mo/Po), second.

INDIVIDUAL / DOUBLES PLAY RESULTS:

  • DAY ONE RESULTS:
  • After the first day at McKennan Park in Sioux Falls, the Aberdeen Central tennis program is sitting in 10th place out of 14 teams.
  • In flight one singles, Mitchell Hofer won his first match 6-0, 6-3 against Charlie Grismer of SF. Jefferson and then lost his second, 6-2, 6-3. He’ll compete for 5th place on Friday.
  • In flight two singles, Anderson Prehn lost his first bout against Mark Mohowald of Watertown 6-4, 6-4 and then won his next two battles, he’ll go for the consolation crown on Friday.
  • Flight four singles: Jack Riggs will go for the consolation title after losing his opening match.
  • Flight five singles: Preston Kreber will compete against Tyler Dingsor of Watertown for the consolation championship.
  • Flight six singles: 9-seed Hunter Miller defeated Yankton’s Ethan Marsh 6-3, 0-6 (10-8) but lost in the championship quarterfinals, he’ll be in the 5th place semi-finals on Friday.
  • In flight one & two doubles, Central lost both of their opening matches, in flight three doubles (Kreber/Casper) won their opener against a SF. Jefferson squad, but fell to Harrisburg. They’ll go for the 5th place spot on Friday.

 

  • DAY TWO RESULTS:
  • Flight two: AJ Prehn fell to Tristan Eizinger of RCS, 10-3.
  • Flight four: Jack Riggs dropped a 10-4 decision to Max Phares from RCS.
  • Flight five, Preston Kreber fell to Tyson Dingsor from Watertown, 10-6.
  • In flight one doubles, the team of Mitchell Hofer & AJ Prehn defeated the team of Jerke/Jurack from Mitchell, 10-6 to place NINTH.
  • Flight two doubles, Gogue/Riggs won their first match 10-2 against a Brookings tandem, but dropped a 10-5 decision to Eszlinger/Gromer from Brandon Valley, 10-5.
  • In flight three doubles, Kreber/Casper lost in their lone match of the day, 10-9 (7-4).
