Hughes County canvass their results Thursday

PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- The Hughes County Commission has approved a canvass of votes from this week’s primary election.  Finance Officer Thomas Oliva says voter turnout in the county was under five-percent. 17-year old Sioux Falls boy charged in adult court for robbery

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- A 17-year old Sioux Falls boy will be tried as an adult in an armed robbery and shooting that took place early Monday morning. Preview of summer study dealing with property taxes

PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- South Dakota lawmakers are gearing up to examine the state’s property tax valuation system. Valuations are on the rise, taking property taxes higher. State House Majority Leader Will Mortenson was among the lawmakers pushing for the study. The study committee will begin its work in a couple of weeks.
