Congress needs to approve spending bills by end of month

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – While Congress has agreed in large part to funding levels in the next federal budget, specific spending bills have not been approved.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says that has to be done by the end of the month.

Rounds says Democrats are backing away from an earlier agreement.
