Open House to discuss Wylie Park Master Plan set for Wednesday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Recreation and Forestry Department is seeking input on updates for Wylie Park. There will be an open house from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, to discus the Wylie Park Master Plan. The event will take place in the Second Floor Library Auditorium at the ARCC, 225 Third Ave. S.E.

Doug Johnson, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, talked about the event.

He wants individuals who use the facility to have a voice in the decision making process.

While Wylie Park has been a huge attraction during the summer months, Johnson said the goal is always to make things better.

Johnson talked about the time table for possible renovations and additions.

He encouraged people to take a survey and be a part of the process.
