Thune says opinions vary on quid pro quo interpretation

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The U.S. House opens public hearings next week into the possible impeachment of President Trump. Much of the early investigation points to a possible “quid pro quo” with Ukraine over and investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says there are lots of opinions.

Thune, who could sit as a juror in a Senate trial, says he will wait for more details.

Thune says the President may have a point about being treated unfairly.

House committees have been gathering depositions during several weeks of closed hearings.
