Two people in Iowa being tested for Coronavirus

DES MOINES, IA. (KELO.com) — Two people in Iowa may have the Coronavirus.

State Medical Director Caitlin Pedati shares the update ‘Live’ on the Iowa Department of Health Facebook page.

Dr. Pedati makes it clear that these are not confirmed cases – the two people are simply undergoing tests.

Pedati says the State Health Department is not revealing where these two people live or what airport they may have come through. She says there is no reason to because there is no threat to the public.

The potentially deadly Coronavirus started in China, but there is now a global emergency.
