MITCHELL, S.D.(KELO)- Earlier this week, the U.S. House voted 216-210 to oust Kevin McCarthy as the Speaker of the House.  Congressman Dusty Johnson reacted to what has happened this week.

Johnson express frustration for what the eight Republicans & all Democrats did this week.

Johnson explains with no Speaker, everything grinds to the halt.

Johnson once again reiterates that shutdowns don’t do any good for anybody.

Johnson said that his party needs to get their act together.

Republicans are scheduled to hold a conference on Tuesday with the goal of trying to select their next Speaker on Wednesday for a full vote.
