WASHINGTON, D.C.(KELO)- It doesn’t have a lot of teeth, but Senator Mike Rounds says President Biden’s Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence development may go too far.

For national security’s sake, Rounds says it’s critical that the U-S keeps top AI developers working in the U-S…an area of agreement with the Administration.

As he reviews the Executive Order, Rounds says there are some areas of concern.

Senator Rounds finds himself at the center of AI discussions and legislation.

He says he’s been working on the issue since 2017.
