PIERRE, S.D.(DRGNews)- The National Weather Service outlook shows high temperatures in the single digits to below zero with severe wind chills are in store for South Dakota- and the region- through at least early next week.
Weatherology meteorologist Michael Karow (care-o) says the bitter cold starts Thursday.
Karow says in central South Dakota, it doesn’t look like there will be much for snowfall accompanying these extremely cold temperatures.
Karow says if you do have to be outdoors, remember to dress accordingly.
Wind chill advisory starts at midnight until 6pm Saturday when it changes to a Wind chill warning until 12pm Sunday.
