VERMILLION, S.D.(KYNT)- South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden and Representative Dusty Johnson spoke at South Dakota Girls State on the University of South Dakota campus in Vermillion on Wednesday.

Rhoden said he was honored to have a chance to speak with some of the young people of South Dakota.

Johnson said events like Girls State are an investment in the youth.

Attorney General Marty Jackley also spoke at Girls State earlier in the week.

All three are scheduled to be at Boys State in Aberdeen.  Boys States runs from June 2nd-6th.
