ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The 2026 Northern State Commencement was held Saturday at the Barnett Center in Aberdeen.

One of the feature speakers was Student Government Association President Abiah George.  She spoke in the 2025 Winter Commencement with her focus being on generosity.  Saturday’s speech dealt with the theme of home.

George talks about how Northern State University felt like home to her.

George talks about the future as most of the graduates will be heading to new locations.

George told the audeience that the person can dictate how he or she can be perceived.

Around 300 students graduated from NSU this year.
