PIERPONT, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- Back Forty Adventure Farms in Piedmont are set to host their first annual Sunflower Festival starting on Monday.

“Our family has always enjoyed creating experiences that bring people together on the farm,” said Clint Brandlee, owner of Back Forty Adventure Farm. “We planted this sunflower field knowing it would be something special, and we’re excited to welcome visitors to experience it with us.”

Visitors can stroll through thousands of blooming sunflowers, enjoy scenic photo opportunities throughout the field, browse the Back Forty Farm Store, visit farm animals, and enjoy food from the on-site food truck as well as wine from Arlington, SD based Converse Wine Company.

The dates are the following:

Monday, August 3, Tuesday, August 4, Friday, August 7, Saturday, August 8, Sunday, August 9, Monday, August 10, & Tuesday, August 11.

The hours are from 4-8pm each night.

The cost are the following:

Family pass is $40.  Those with five or more in the family.

Adults 13 & Up is $12

Kids 12 & Under is $8

Kids 2 and under are free.
