2021 World Archery Championship following COVID-19 protocol

YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Hundreds of archers from around the globe will gather in Yankton next month for the Hyundai (hun-die) World Archery Championships and the World Archery Congress Board meeting.

The events, held in the last half of the month are expected to draw about two thousand athletes, trainers, and officials to the National Field Archery Association facilities.

NFAA Spokesperson Stephanie Moser says all those attending will have to clear a Covid-19 test before coming to the US.

Moser says they are taking normal health precautions at this point.

Moser says they will have to help participants test out when they leave.

The two world tournaments will be staged back-to-back starting on September 20th.
