YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators are heading into crunch time, as they hit the final two weeks of the main run of the 2021 session.

Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, Chair of the Appropriations Committee, says they are still pulling all the spending bills together.

Hunhoff says they are still hearing requests for all the one time money.

Hunhoff says the budgeting process this year got very complicated.

Hunhoff expects to have the budget bill ready for debate by early next week.
