PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- Some hard decisions ahead. That’s the caution offered by state Senator Ernie Otten. He co-chairs the legislature’s appropriations committee and says the upcoming ten percent cut in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families won’t be the last difficult decision the committee faces. The weekly drought monitor map shows all areas up and down the Interstate 29 corridor, and a large chunk of northwest South Dakota drought-free.
