Approximately 1:29 p.m. on December 30, 2025, Aberdeen Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 900 block of S Kline Street in Aberdeen.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire conditions on the back side of the single-family dwelling. The fire was contained to the involved structure. The home was occupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. However, some animals perished as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
