PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- A bill writing rules and regulations for medical marijuana in South Dakota is still making its way through the legislature.
Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton says it is a massive bill.
The amended bill would delay the legalization of medical marijuana to January first. Stevens says some allowances need to be made to stick to the original date of implementation.
Stevens says there are some differences with federal laws.
Legislators are down to the final five days of the main run of the 2021 session.
