WATERTOWN, S.D. —  At approximately 6:30 pm Wednesday evening Police officers were called to a residence in Southwest Watertown where a gunshot wound was reported.  On arrival officers located a male party that had been shot in the face. Watertown Police Department Captain Kirk Ellis says that Watertown Fire Rescue transported the victim to Prairie Lakes Hospital.

Ellis gave no reason for may have been a motivation for the shooting, but added the 65 year-old Sherri Tormanen was taken to the Codington County Detention Center where she was being held on a 100,000 dollar cash bond.
