RAPID CITY, (KOTA News) – A plot of land that has been a golf course in Rapid City is one step closer to being redeveloped into what the parks and rec director called a neighborhood park, which Jeff Biegler said would feature disc golf and trails.

Biegler said they had some money in their budget to begin the redesign process.

Estimated cost is $80,000.

Biegler said maintenance would be minimal.

He expects construction to be complete end of summer perhaps early fall.

City Council will have the final say this evening.
