Road Construction season is upon us and more work is planned in the City limits. Destin Spelman with the City Engineer’s office is heading the project and he tells us what to expect from the closure at the intersection of 8th and Roosevelt NE.

The detours are clearly marked and Spelman said there are detours for every direction of traffic

He also described the kind of work that is being done, and taking care of a rough ride at the intersection by removing the build up of Asphalt at the same time.

Again, the intersection will be closed beginning Monday June 1st and motorists are advised to use another route or be aware of the detours.
