Flags flown at half staff in honor of former VP Dick Cheney

PIERRE, S.D.(Press Release) – On Thursday, Governor Larry Rhoden ordered that flags be flown at half-staff statewide effective immediately in honor of former Vice President Dick Cheney. Flags will remain at half-staff until the day of his interment, which will be announced at a later date.

Aberdeen Regional Airport did ribbon cutting for new parking lot

Clark, SD to implement 1% gross receipt tax

CLARK, S.D.(Press Release)- Effective January 1, 2026, the City of Clark will implement a 1% municipal gross receipts tax. This new tax will apply to lodging accommodations, eating establishments, alcoholic beverage sales, and admissions. Members of Medical Marijuana Oversight Committee critical of SD Dept of Health Secretary
