South Dakota BioTech/BioRise won a $150-thousand dollar grant from the Small Business Administration.
Joni Ekstrum, the CEO of BioTech/BioRise, says the partnership enables the non-profit to partner with groups on Tribal lands to produce and distribute fresh food.
The grant awarded to South Dakota Biotech/BioRise was one of only 35 granted across the U.S.
