HURON, S.D.(KOKK)- An event that provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives will be held in Huron Sunday.  The fifth annual Out of the Darkness Walk organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will take place at Campbell Park.  Organizer Janet Harvey with AFSP said events like the Out of the Darkness walk are an important part of keeping the conversation of suicide prevention moving forward.

She said having a place to turn and talk no matter what time of day is ideal and that is available from calling or texting 988.
