PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- Too much social media can lead to mental health issues.

That’s the conclusion of Avera Health psychologist Dr. Wallace Jackmon.

That kind of information led most of the attorneys general across the nation to file suit against Meta…the parent company of Facebook.

Among those involved in the suit is Attorney General Marty Jackley.

Dr. Jackmon’s research confirms one of the concerns of the attorneys general.

Teens have a higher chance of getting addicted to social media sites when it’s their primary means of communicating.
