BISMARCK, ND (AberdeenWings.com) – The Wings had their first weekend of the season without gaining a point in the NAHL standings.

The first period Friday night was back and forth as the Wings got a pair of goals from Leonid Bulgakov and Bismarck responded with goals from Patrick Johnson and Connor Farren to head into the locker room with a 2-2 tie in the game.  Assisting on the Bulgakov goals were Reed, Pollock, Wisener and one of the newest additions Drew Fisher.  Bismarck was able to jump out early in the 2nd to take a 4-2 lead with goals from Tamas Toth and Landon Fandel.  Matthew Wisener got the Wings to within a goal at the 7:15 mark of the period with Pollock and Bulgakov assisting.  That would be all the Wings would get though as Bismarck added a late 2nd period goal from Fandel, his 2nd of the period to give the Bobcats a 5-3 Friday night win.  Adam Dybal was in goal for the Wings and stopped 36 of the 41 shots he faced.

Saturday night was all Bismarck as the received a goal a period and cruised to a 3-0 shutout.  Scoring in the 1st for Bismarck was Connor Farren, his 2nd of the weekend.  Kyle Doll scored in the 2nd and Julian Beaumont closed out the scoring with a goal early in the 3rd. Croix Kochendorfer stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced.  The Wings were 0 for 8 on the power play over the weekend and Bismarck was 1 for 6.
