WEBSTER, S.D.(KXLG)- The Webster Area Chamber of Commerce is spearheading a “Share the Warmth” drive during November to ensure all young people in the county stay warm during the winter.
The Chamber asks residents to donate new winter hats, gloves, and socks to the cause. It is the first year the Chamber is sponsoring the Share the Warmth project, and Chamber Executive Director Kelsey Kading told KXLG News that they were looking for something a little different this year.
Items can be dropped off at the Cortrust Bank in Webster and Pierpont, Dacotah Bank in Webster and Roslyn, First Interstate Bank in Webster, and First Savings Bank in Bristol and Waubay.
The locations make it easy for all Day County residents to participate, Kading said.
All Donations will be delivered to Day County schools in early December.
