ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The 18th Annual Bull Run takes place Saturday morning, July 27, in Aberdeen. The event, put on by the Aberdeen Family Y, includes a half-marathon, 5K, 10K, fun walk and a Munchkin Run.

The half-marathon starts at 7 a.m., with the 5K, 10K and fun walk at 8 a.m., and the Munchkin Run at 9:30 a.m.

Terrill Meier, event director, said there is a reason for the early start.

Cost is $40 for adults, $30 for students, and $12 for walkers and the Muchkin Run. There is a family rate of $80.

Meier said that some participants come from as far as Minneapolis.

There is also a Glow Run scheduled for Friday night, July 26. Cost for that event is $15 for adults, $5 for children, and free for those age 3 and younger. There is a family rate of $30.
