PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – The interim Joint Appropriations Committee of the South Dakota legislature got an update on expected tax revenue for the 2020 fiscal year at their meeting in Pierre Monday.
Revenue Department Secretary Jim Terwilliger says he is projecting a drop in revenue next year.
Terwilliger says they see sales taxes continuing a drop from this year.
Terwilliger says they see mixed results in other tax categories.
The committee took no action on the revenue report.
